My name is Christian Jung, b-sides is my blog about music and music business and the changes that come with the digital age. I am offering help and knowledge to musicians who want to try new ways of self-marketing besides the mainstream.

I am writing and thinking from the perspective of a web professional, consultant and designer and a healthy distance to the traditional music business. I can offer some 10+ years experience in planning and designing e-business websites and – i’m convinced that this is the key – a lot of love to art.

I have have been as creative director at SinnerSchrader, a well known e-commerce focused web agency until 2005, and product marketing expert at CoreMedia, a CMS software company until 2007. I have been educated by my highly respected Professor Gerd Fleischmann, who has some reputation as an typography and bauhaus expert. I am living in Hamburg, Germany.
